JOANNA MEADE
OWNER and EVENT PRODUCER Joanna has been an event manager since 2005 working largely for European institutions, and has produced a huge variety of conferences and events. Her clients have included big corporate, institutions, associations and NGOs. Since founding Sirena Events, Joanna has honed her expertise in large scale events and, more specifically, the design, production and management of exhibition stands and fairs. Joanna is fluent in English, French and Spanish, with a working knowledge of Italian, German and Dutch. |
JEROEN THIJS
OWNER and TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS MANAGER Jeroen's 20 years of experience in the transport industry has led to him co-founding Sirena Events and running all of the international event transport. Jeroen also manages build-up and dismantling logistics including runners, stage hands and set builders for exhibition stands and stage sets. He has transported event materials to events in all corners of Europe, and even driven as far as Mongolia. Jeroen speaks fluent Dutch, German and English. |
IRENE VILA
SENIOR EVENT MANAGER Irene has been an event manager since 2009, providing a full range of event management services with a particular focus on events for up to 1500 participants on behalf of the European Institutions in the Member States and outside the EU. She has solid experience in the design and onsite management of exhibition stands for international fairs. Irene is fluent in Spanish, English, French and Italian, and is currently perfecting her Portuguese. |
LAURENCE ANDRIES
EVENT COORDINATOR Laurence is an all rounder from the cultural scene. Mixing this with a great network of artists and craftsmen, she can take on any project and turn it into an overwhelming experience. She joined Sirena Events in 2019, bringing with her a whole new artistic perspective and added creativity. Laurence speaks French and English, and is enjoying improving her Spanish and Dutch on the job. |
INES RUIZ PALMER
SENIOR EVENT MANAGER Ines has a background in corporate events and extensive experience in the production of strategic content for events and communications campaigns. For the last 10 years she has worked in all areas of event management focusing largely on content and speaker management. Based currently in Paris, Ines is a native French and English speaker, and also speaks fluent Spanish. |
EDWIN VAN EEKHOUT
STAGE MANAGER dEdwin has 12 years experience in the events industry working in a large variety of roles. He has worked as a producer on the technical side of music and corporate events, in the management of crews for build-up and breakdown, as an area-manager at festival sites and worked as a general stage manager. He also drives for Sirena Transport. Edwin in based in the Netherlands and speaks Dutch and English. |
MARIA GOMES
EVENT COORDINATOR Maria has been an event coordinator for the past four years. She has been mostly focused on mid and large scale events under the European Commission framework contracts. Her international experience and Portuguese blood have given her with the skills to manage subcontractors and find last minute solutions to unpredictable situations. Based currently in Lisbon, Maria is fluent in Portuguese, French, English and has a working knowledge of Spanish. |
DELPHINE BOSSE
EVENT MANAGER Delphine has many years of experience within international organisations developing and organising events, seminars and conferences. She joined forces with Sirena Events in 2017 to lend her expertise and is currently working on a number of projects in Brussels and abroad. Delphine speaks fluent French and English, with working knowledge of Italian, Polish and German. |
